History of business
Mark opened Sunflower Farms In May 1983,after graduating from Kansas State with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Agriculture.
The bareground spraying began in 2002 through contracts with KDOT spraying highway right-of-ways in eight counties. It now includes various other businesses as well. 
The floral and gift shop opened in 2001, with an expansion added in 2005.
